Pamyla Love
My story is never ending. Along the path of my life I have danced in partnership with some wonderful teachers, and my life continues to change dramatically through my own personal examinations. My teachers provided the encouragement to keep the commitments to myself that moved me in the direction I chose. By illuminating my choices with new perspectives, I had the opportunity to take new action - in fact I experienced miracles.

I began practicing my craft on a part-time basis, following a program of training with the daughter of a 31st generation Shaolin monk disciple. I incorporated body energy work and intuitive abilities with my work as a childbirth educator, birth attendant and fitness instructor. I also taught at St. Michael's hospital, and coordinated and taught the prenatal program at the Etobicoke Olympium. I am a certified advanced practitioner of Therapeutic Touch and have advanced levels as a Medical Intuitive.

As a therapeutic touch practitioner I have spoken to doctors and nurses on the benefits of therapeutic touch, and facilitated practice sessions with trained nurses. Further studies of body energy work, vibrational healing, and native philosophy and medicines have deepened my understanding of the original holistic training.

Each day I choose to be peace, joy, love and light, and this allows me to be these things for others when our lives touch.

Daniel DesLauriers D.hyp (MIAPH) has trained with the United Kingdom's largest and most successful hypnotherapy organization, the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts (IAPH) based in Cambridge, UK. It is also the largest Analytical Hypnotherapy organization in the world.

Daniel's interest in hypnotherapy was the result of overcoming a life threatening illness that left him fascinated by the mind-body relationship and how it affects our everyday life. Inspired by the work and personal story of Milton Erickson, a hypnotherapist and psychiatrist whose own success at using the mind to heal himself from polio paralysis led Daniel on a journey to find the best training available in the field of hypnotherapy.

Daniel trained in conventional hypnotherapy, known as suggestion therapy, but was left disillusioned. “I have never been comfortable with the idea of putting ideas into peoples minds, I was headstrong in the belief that if given the right tools and therapeutic atmosphere that a person could heal themselves”, and so Daniel continued his search looking for a training institute that matched his beliefs.

That search ended when he found the IAPH. “I knew immediately after reading the description of the course material that my search was over. Here was an organization of people who practiced what I had been looking for, a non-directive process where the client is in essence healing themselves, permanently and effectively with only a little help from the therapist.”

Daniel's final straw of absolute belief in the training offered by the IAPH came when he underwent his own personal analysis with a qualified therapist in the organization. “It all makes sense on paper, A+B=C, but it's when you experience it yourself that you build a passion for it. Releasing anxiety through this process has been one of the most amazing things I have ever done. I never would have pegged myself as an overly anxious person, but once released the difference was obvious and permanent!”

Daniel's personal history of overcoming illness, his non-judgmental and kind manner, coupled with an innate ability to make those around him feel at ease has made Daniel a well sought after therapist.
